Overview

The Senior Project Manager – Special Projects (SPG) is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction-management project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
  • Produce all elements of project execution plan and implement
  • Provide jobsite leadership in the area of safety and quality
  • Maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.
  • Full accountability/responsibility of Project schedule and cost
  • Financial Acumen
  • Lead approach in response to the RFP’s including but not limited to Logistics, Schedule, Staffing, Project Procurement, etc.
  • Work w/ Marketing in Presentation Approach
  • Develop relationship w/ Owner’s, Owners Reps and Project Consultants
  • This position reports to a member of the Executive team

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 10+ years in the lead role on a project(s)
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong technical and communication skills are critical
  • Ability to lead, develop and build strong teams
  • Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    

 

For New York, NY this ranges from $164,000.00 = $226,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
