Overview

This Senior ERP Analyst will combine an understanding of the construction industry with technical and analytical understanding to support, maintain, and upgrade the ERP system.  Act as a liaison and work in coordination with the ERP Team, including Project Manager and ERP Technical Developer, Department heads, and Subject Matter Experts.  Help support the ERP by working with vendors and team members to handle issues as they arise.

 

*** This position can be located near ANY U.S. based Gilbane Office with the flexibliity for a hybrid or remote work arrangement.***

Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Manager, utilizing project management tools and techniques.
  • Understand application features and capabilities, including upcoming release of new features, changes, and capabilities.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of application knowledge bases, including Help materials, FAQ’s.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and programs.
  • Provide help to end users by performing application troubleshooting and support.  Work with end users, troubleshoot issues, recreate, and document for vendor support ticketing systems, and work with vendor to resolve issues.
  • Provide Business Partners with reports and data exports/imports when required.
  • Work with Business Partners to configure the system, including security, to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with Vendors and Consultants.
  • Create testing scripts and scenarios. Work with SME’s to verify testing and results. Document outcome.
  • Work together with the SME’s, Business Partners, and the ERP team on systems upgrades.
  • Recommend and document improvements in system functionality. Work with SME’s to collect new feature requests and enhancements.
  • Assist as new application modules are implemented.
  • Work with third party vendors and Application Development team on integrations.
  • Perform application troubleshooting and support.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, accounting or equivalent
  • 5+ years ERP experience.
  • Understanding of SQL and data structures.
  • Understanding Jasper reports and CMiC BI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CMiC ERP is a plus.
  • Good understanding of technology supporting ERP and other systems.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate work efforts.
  • Scrum or other Agile Project Management frameworks experience is a plus.
