  • Overview

    The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager in the overall direction, completion, of a construction-management project.


    Assistant Manager typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Ensure Contract Document Logs are established and maintained
    • Effectively issue Request for Quotations and follow up with Trade Contractors
    • Establish and maintain the project quality files and documentation systems
    • Prepare reports, and other project reporting documents
    • Continually promote organizational change initiatives, suggests new ideas, and adapt to work within new structures and processes



    • Associates, Bachelors degree, or 1–3 years of relevant experience orr equivalent combination of education and experience



    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Strong organizational, administrative, documentation, Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
    • Excellent Knowledge of, Microsoft Office Suite especially (Word and Excel)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to learn new software programs – Data base applications
    • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Customer service orientation
