Senior Estimator is responsible for generating all estimating deliverables.
Office responsibilities include, but are not limited to: generating estimating deliverables, ability to develop accurate conceptual cost models, understanding construction methods, productivity, equipment, systems and materials, keep track of current material & labor pricing including escalation, maintain relationships with subcontractors & material vendors, make meaningful value engineering contributions, ability to reconcile estimates with other consultants & design team, generating sound documentation for scope of work assumed in estimates, maintaining a well organized approach & disciplined work ethic.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years estimating experience on projects having estimated costs ranging from $100,000 to $50,000,000. Estimating experience from conceptual thru construction document phases required. Knowledge of Timberline software, Microsoft Excel, and Word preferable. Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems estimating.
Education Requirement: The successful candidate should have sufficient work related experience. A BS or MS [Engineering / Construction Management] graduate would be favorable.
