Responsibilities

  • Reviews MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness
  • Assists in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule
  • Enforces quality controls policies and inspections on the MEP trades
  • Interfaces with commissioning agent to ensure the commissioning process is being executed to meet expectations
  • Executes the submittal and RFI review and coordination for MEP disciplines
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
  • Supports a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years related field experience
  • OSHA 30 hour certified
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage project subcontractors
  • Ability to collaborate on a daily basis with the project team
  • Ability to demonstrate both engineering and field supervision capabilities
  • MEP construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs by utilizing excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    
For Connecticut this ranges from $104,900.00.-$128,200.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
