EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM) or related field
- 3+ years of VDC Coordination experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong time-management and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with BIM and design software Knowledge of complex design concepts and integrated building components and systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while coaching and mentoring VDC engineers
- Ability to create 3D coordination models to facilitate the coordination process
- Strong proficiency with reality capture hardware, software, and processes
- Strong proficiency with 3D software and ability to model, dissect, and leverage the software for construction purposes
- Ability to read construction schedules and tie activities to VDC deliverables
- Ability to prioritize project tasks to achieve project VDC deliverables deadlines
- Ability to display areas of subject matter expertise
