Overview

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for various aspects of our accounts payable department including ensuring that vendors are paid timely and accurately, and that invoices are coded properly.

 

 

Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Clerks typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Employee reimbursement requests and process for payment in a timely manner.
  • Coding invoices and allocations.
  • 1099 preparation.
  • Interactions with development team members.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Ensure policies and procedures are consistent across the accounts payable department and that the policies are set for the achievement of the business’s overall goals and objectives.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable within the real estate industry a plus.
  • Experience with Nexus Payables a plus.
  • Experience with Concur a plus.
  • Experience with MRI a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.

 

 

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    

 

For Providence, RI this ranges from $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
